Yoakum will be back to norm. Last year, though we made it a couple rounds in playoffs, it wasn't the Yoakum standard type season/team. I think we will have our best hitting team ever that also will produce the long balls. Solid rotation and average fielding.

Long time (20+ years) skipper (Jace Wood) gone, but appears we got a good one from Pleasanton (Bobby Nicholson) to fill out the lineup card.

Suffering through pitiful varsity football and basketball 2010 seasons ---baseball will help us forget those showings for the time being.

Could even have a few games at the end in Sinton's new park.

Carroll lost two starters from last years state championship team. They will be good this season and next. I believe they had at least 5 starters that were sophomores last year.

In the area there are a few teams in Region 4 that you will have to look out for in 2A:

1. Cameron Yoe(I think this will be a very good year)
2. Rogers(defending state champs)
3. Thorndale
