Not a sports thread but equally important this time of year. I will be spending Christmas day with family and since the wife must finance my new trolling motor with overtime on X-mas eve and the days after X-mas, I will be spending about 3 days floating in my Bass Boat on Lake Fork!

What will all of ya'll be doing for the holidays????

He was probably in a "festive" mood....way to go.

I will be hanging out at the house w/family and cooking AGAIN. Seems like I just recovered from the Thanksgiving cook-a-thon and cleaning my oven (which I totally destroyed making candied yams).

Oh and the good part...I am taking the week off after Christmas and doing as little as possible for as long as possible.

:)

P4S...maybe we can go see a movie or something...

It would never work EV!!! I know for a fact that my wife would NEVER accept TWO men in her life that had a relationship with Jessica!!!!! It took me years to convince her my relationship with Jessica was only about the sex and didn't mean anything! :D

I know the feeling! I always get the cooking duties for any big family dinners. Because of my history of managing restaurants I can cook a meal for 10 people and have ZERO dirty dishes afterwards. My wife can make a bologna sandwich and the sink will be full!!!!! It's easier if I do it!

On Christmas Eve I will drive from Ingleside to Oklahoma City(600+ miles). Spend 3 days with mother-in-law and step-daughter and her family. Spend a little time in the casinos. Then drive back to Ingleside on Tuesday.:(

lol...not as much fun as spending it at the deer lease? Plus you get the added bonus of ten hours travel time each way!

I already feel better about having to cook, thanks.

The travel time is the bad part but I think my wife deserves to see her family on Christmas. It has been awhile since she spent Christmas with her mother. I guess missing one weekend at the deer lease isn't too bad. I'll just have to take some time off and make up for it.:D
