ooooh, this thread reminded me, I need to get out my Christmas CD's. I have a really good Jimmy Buffet CD and a Martina McBride Christmas CD.

Maybe music will help me in the "Christmas Spirit" department. I know these 75-80 degree days aren't doing much for me.

I love Oh Holy Night....one of my favorite songs, and not just at Christmas.

I also love Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, most notably the covers by Judy Garland and James Yaylor. And there's something about Ill Be Home for Christmas that always gets me.

For newer stuff, I like Faith Hill's Where Are You, Christmas? and A Baby Changes Everything.

My favorite Christmas album was the Elvis Presley one we had when I was growing up.

I was on hold with some company yesterday at work & "Blue Christmas" was playing. It was hard not to break out with "Woowoo woowoo woowoo". :D

"O Holy Night" has always been my favorite. I've heard many artists do versions of it. Tenneesee Ernie Ford, Bing Crosby, Johnny Mathis, Nat King Cole, many others. But this one is one of my all time favorites.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZxcmEHHM-Ic

Ernie Ford and Gordon McRae did a duo on it on an Ernie Ford Christmas Show many years ago. One of the best versions ever.

"Merry Christmas From the Family" by Robert Earl Keen. Simply Greatness. (I play in a little "pickup" band from time to time and it is one of the songs we play year round!)

"O come O come Emanuel" there are many versions but to be honest, I like it best sung in Church with whatever music accompanies it.

"Mary Did You Know?" by Rodney Carrington. Yes, THAT Rodney Carrington. For a guy that made a living off of saying things you can't in Church, its good to hear him sing this song. And he sings it very, very well!

The whole Charlie Brown Christmas Album. When I hear this music each year my brain goes on Christmas mode.

Dear Mr. Garciap77
I heard you use only veteran posters in your musicals/videos. Is this true? I know that Rocket is a child prodigy so you make exceptions, but what about the others? :D

I'll need to find a photo with my bestest side. Not sure which that is. Can you possibly arrange to have me accompanied by Jane Seymour or Rachel Welch. :inlove: :inlove:
