View Full Version : California vs Penn State for NCAA College National Championship (2010)

The match starts at 7:30 P.M. tonight and I know we UT fans are disappointed we aren't there but this could be a great match. Penn State has 3 freshmen starting and they are great and will probably dominate the next 3 years. But California has played perfect in the playoffs winnng all their matches 3-0. Will California be able to win the match and temporarily give a break of the PSU dynasty or will PSU continue the dynasty which should extend the next 3 years. We will see. Enjoy.

Unfortunately we will miss part of it due to delayed coverage to finish the Oklahoma vs Alabama NCAA college men's basketball. It is over now though and the coverage starts on ESPN2 and in the first game Penn State is leading 9-6.

Penn State (PSU) beats California (Cal) in a tough close first game 25-20 but it doesn't look good for Cal. It looks like PSU continues the dynasty.

PSU is doing unto Cal as Cal has done unto others in the playoffs. PSU wins second game 27-25. PSU now leads the match 2 - 0 and should get a third win even though the games have been close. Cal let this one get away but bad shooting choices lost them the chance to win this one.

Third game coming. Will PSU end it or will Cal come back? We will see. If PSU wins it will be their fourth straight championship.

Cal had some good leads in third game but now it is tied 12 all.

PSU starting to pull it ahead as they now lead 16-12.

After this year unless something unexpected happens PSU will win the next 3 at least. They may as well award the National Championship to them after each season and let the others play for second place. Is this dynasty good for women's college volleyball? I say no even though it is good for PSU.
