Basketball scores 12/17

OK since both the 3A DI AND DII Championships are over we can discuss some basketball.

#24 Sweeny avenges their only loss of the season to 2A #4 Hallettsville.

Sweeny lost to then #1 Hallettsville by 7.

Tonight Sweeny won 77-50 to improve to 10-1 on the year.

Next for Sweeny is the Brazosport ISD Holiday Classic 29th-30th first game vs. 4A Pearland Dawson

Cuero Gobblers won in their bracket this morning in a tourney and for the life of me, I can't remember what tourney it was.. maybe Rice?? I think they are in the winners bracket. I have the stats, etc on my work email (lotta good that does me now) Gobblers also did well in a Victoria tourney early in the week. Coach Toot getting things moving in the right direction :)

Gobblers take first for the second weekend in a row. And on a 9 game winning streak.........wow been awhile.
This one was the East Bernard Tournament.
Gobblers play at home monday (Sinton) before they start distric Tues @ Sam Houston........
