Who's QB's are returning and if not who will be stepping up next season?

Ours is a toss up. Our QB was a junior however broke his foot in the West game in like 8 places. So its unsure if he will be able to return as a QB next fall. If he does than that is great but if he doesnt than we have an upcoming junior who will be pretty decent as well. He played a few games last year for some experience. It will be interesting to see how next season plays out.

WOW He played very well against us. Do you know how many players Alvarado had at our playoff game? I had never see so many kids on the sideline.

Is he a twin? I think him and his bro were good friends with my son when we lived there when they were in K-1st grade

Our freshman team has been very succesful since beginning jr high. As jr highers both A&B teams have won consistently so there have been very few players leave ther program. Our freshman team still suits up over 60 players. Quite a few freshmen got to suit up but we inactive. Makes the picture a little decieving!!!

Lep Qb Vinklarek will be a junior next year. He threw for over 2200 yards this year as a sophomore. If he continues to improve he will be a big asset to the Lep offense in 2011.

Lewis was granted another year of eligibility by the UIL. They said he was so fast that he missed half of high school.

No disrespect the the QB, but it is going to hurt him losing the WR he had. that kid was unreal.

Yes Wilkerson's talent was a big part of these stats but for a sophomore Vinklarek stepped up and did a good job especially with an o line without a single returning starter. Next year the o line should be stronger and bigger giving him a second or two more time to read the defense and pick out open receivers. Look for an improved Lep team in 2011.

Asking the UIL for another year of eligibility for Graylon, he missed a lot of the season last year so he deserves another year.

That I don't know. I like Mitch Stevens(last years backup), but who really knows. We didn't get to see anyone else this year and in HS football, it's not that far out of the realm to turn another talented position player into QB.

No one player stands out.

BEAST is much more in the "Know" than I am and may be able to answer better.

No cracks at Keenum, he's a good guy in my book. I have no idea who the QB will be, you know the #5 OLB we had this year was a QB at one time? JV quarterback is said to be pretty good, don't know much about Stevens. Who knows, maybe somebody that is not even there yet. :D

I didn't say that to take anything away from the QB, just saying that having a WR that can make a completion out of anything that is in his area code helps a ton.

Hehe...honestly I don't know that the answer to that question, but someone else might. The backup this season is a jr, but there was also another jr backup on the roster, plus another kiddo that played several roles at the end of the season that has a good arm. The short answer is "your guess is as good as mine." :)

Our QB graduates, but I think we'll be fine.
