I think it would have been easier if your son had let his wife have that baby. :D

I'm missing a college graduation Saturday....

It my cousins fault though, if she would have taken 4 years to graduate instead of 3 1/2 it would be in the spring and not December so I blame her...

My anniversary with my first wife was Dec 18th.. That must have been the reason for our divorce. She was always wanting to celebrate our anniversary at somewhere other than a sports ball.... what the hell was she thinking....

I can't believe the questions that REALLY matter haven't been asked...

1) What time do the strippers arrive?
2) Bottled or canned beer?
3) Can my cousin come too?

my son's wife delievered our granddughter on Dec 20th 2000 - doc and my son were both watching Southern Mississippi/TCU in some Bowl Game (with 1 eye lol) during the delivery.. So Miss won 28-21 if I recall...

in 1993 - we had a coach who's wedding was scheduled for Saturdy, Dec 18th - We were playing Southlake Carroll for the SC that day - so they changed the wedding to Sunday 19th :)

This is kinda morbid, but my husband's best friend mom died during the Texas/Texas Tech game this year.

She was in Hospice House and they had told them it was any time, so everyone gathered there. Rodney told her, "You are gonna go and screw up my Tech game, aren't ya??" She died about half way through the second quarter!!

I almost died too during the same game

That is sad though. I don't want you to think I'm heartless. :D

We had a coach a few years ago that had planned on getting married the day of the 3A state game...he said if we would have made it, it would have been done at centerfield at halftime lol
