I'm not saying I know why he was benched, but that word alone did not get him benched.

To answer the original question...yes, benched players are allowed to return.

Even some ejected posters are allowed to return on a short leash.

We are a forgiving bunch around here, maybe too much so!!

We probably don't use the warning system as much as is warranted....I know myself, I do A LOT of warnings via PM and am probably entirely too nice about it, and sometimes feel taken advantage of because of it.

So....I apologize for not doing the job I SHOULD be doing, and I don't like the tone this thread is taking, so I am shutting it down!!
