Members with "Rookie" status

I understand and support the new “rule” but I have been on down low for a couple of years or so. I haven’t done a lot of contributions – frankly I have a full time job and family to raise- really 100 posts is the rule? Some folks in here have way too much time on their hands. Are they doing this from work? If you are – I sure am glad you’re hope not on my company’s payroll. Sorry I digressed

I like the message board and will always contribute when I feel qualified. From a rookies point of view it seems like many Brownwood and a handful of Celina posters are over the top and have really hurt this board – that’s where the focus ought to be not weather a homer voted in a poll

Good luck with this new rule – Call me a homer if you’d like – sorry that is offensive to many in here.

I have a full-time job, have put 2 sons through college and the 3rd one is 3/4 way there. I get my work done in a timely manner, hang out on the downlow when possible and still manage to go home and cook supper and take care of the household chores. Multi-tasking is a good thing.. While I do understand some folks' jobs restrict their internet time, don't get upset with those that have the opportunity to do so, sorry it offends you. ;)

PHOP,
How can you say you understand and agree with the rule, and then turn around and question the criteria? Doesn't make sense

Back in the old days, we didn't even have fancy "polls" to vote in. People asked a question, and if you felt so inclined to answer, you posted a response.

If it's not worth the time and effort to ever reach 100 posts, I would ask why it matters to you if you're allowed to vote in a poll or not.

What difference does the ability (or inability) to click a little button make when nobody even knows who's voting for what?

I think if you have under 100 posts and want to vote in a poll you have to donate and get your donating member icon and then you can vote.

Hey guys,

you do know that voting in a poll is the most important thing ever, right?

For every vote in a Brownwood poll, God saves a kitten from drowning.

Note to self.......

If post padding, use a thread you don't mind getting banned on and not on the thread you want to vote on   :D :D
