Did I hear right that Mesquite Poteet didn't win a game last year? Then turn around next year with a new coach and lose in the semis against Aledo? Man. That coach did work to improve their team. If it's true I say he is an obvious shoe-in for Coach Of The Year.

0-10 in 2008, 1-9 in 2009 but had to forfiet the one. The outgoing senior class(class of 2010) had never won a game collectively in their lives. They also lost their stud QB(who started this year) in a preseason scrimmage. Still, unbelievable job by Jackson and his crew.

I've known him for a few years and never thought that before now. He kinda scrapped his old offense this year, too.
