and no jason, DeSean Jackson needs to go down with an injury in their first offensive series LOL

I guess I need to hope Vick is running wild because that will mean his WRs are all covered down field, but somehow I don't think that will be the case with our already crappy secondary depleted by injuries.

Still gotta go with my 'Boys: GO COWBOYS!

Cowboys have struggled with quarterbacks who are mobile, realistically the best hope for the Boys is to knock Vick out the the game.

The Cowboys have NEVER run the draw as often as this team does!!! It's pretty predictable right now! The Eagles are all over it.

He was heading out of bounds. I wouldn't be surprised if the league fines him for that classless play. Typical cowgirl biasness going on with these garbage refs.

I can't believe they didn't call that hit a penalty. They absolutely baby the qb in NFL. That was worse than 90% of the calls a qb gets in the NFL.

Replay showed a dozen times that contact was made inbounds! Vick doesn't get the benefit of the call but that's what happens when he makes himself a runner! Reid has been crying about it for weeks.

The thing is with Vick if you let up he gets more yards...you got to hit the guy...he is not off limits because "He was headed out bounds..." if that were the rule they should mark the ball down when he started heading out of bounds...they are all wearing pads. Maybe he should have slid.

Runs out of bounds on every kickoff and goes to the ground if he really thinks he is about to take a hit. May be smart sometimes, but almost all of the time and a much overactive tendency to taunt= gutless in my book.

I hope you kitna lovers are done. Because he was less than mediocre today. Missing everywhere throwing behind and over and under. I'm gla he finally showed that he can't maintain a quality status of play that he has done the last few weeks. But sadly enough if it weren't for the defense was still in position to win had they got the ball back. He definitely didn't give up but just doesn't have the talent to keep up with it all

but but he plays with so much spunk!!!

I agree..it looked like a back up QBs first game with a VERY conservative game plan, and Kitna still kiled Dallas with a terrible int at the worst time

Waay to many short come back routes, the draws, the screens on 2 and 20... All credit to the Eagles for shutting Kitna down. But it looked like he started the game with a 1/4 of the playbook.

Either way, this will do nothing but add fuel to the "play Romo in 2010 or sit rest out" discussions.

The Cowboys need to get their act together before they blow it. They will probably lose the No. 1 draft pick because they beat the Colts and it could have been worse had they beat the Eagles. This season is lost anyway so let's not blow it like the Eagles did yars ago against Buffalo and won their last game and lost out on OJ. They should try out McGee and see how he looks and just play out this season. And for goodness sake don't do something foolish and trade this top pick which should still be at least in the top 3 if we don't go on a silly meaningless win streak and blow it. Let's let McGee get some experience and get this meaningly season for us over with and get some good draft picks and as I wrote please don't trade away the future.

The Ticket had some great talk about this during the AM drive.

After the game, Tashard told the press it was for "Charity."

Later, he put on twitter (?) that it was for his nephew.

Either way, don't you want to see a little more frustrtation with the loss?

I do.

And yet he is turning in numbers equal to our 12 million dollar a year franchise QB!!!!!!!! Kitna finished the game last night with a 89 QB rating. GUESS WHAT? Romo has had 21 of those. (4 in the playoffs). I am not pretending that Kitna deserves anything other than what he is getting! But the truth is that Romo was not any better when he was in here. If not for the first two games after Romo got hurt and Kitna started for the first time in two years Kitna would have a QB rating of 104 on the season even with the game last night!!!!!!
I find it hilarious that you expect more from a 38 year old never-was better than average backup QB than you do from your 12 million dollar a year franchise QB! I guess my point is proven........ again!!!!

BTW: M. Vick had a QB rating of 90 last night. Not very much better than Kitna did................

Slpy, think Bellichick would have been waiting for Choice in the locker room if he played for the Pats, or how about if he was a Raven and got to dance with Raylew after a loss?

What appears to be small differences in QB ratings are actually pretty significant.

Saying Jon Kitna has been comparable to Tony Romo is a bit of a stretch.

Kitna's rating is actually closer to Jason Campbell's than it is to Tony Romo's.

Romo still sits qualified as sixth in the NFL in passer rating this year while Kitna is in the middle of the league at 14.

I guess my point is proven........ again!!!! I never said I had expectations for him. He is actually playing a whole lot better than I ever thought he would. I was just merely stating that he is not capable of being a full time starter. And there is no comparison between the two. Romo is much better than Kitna ever was. Or the 1-15 team would have kept him, or any of the others he played for.
Like I said before Kitna has played better than I thought he would, but that doesnt mean he should take over the starting role like some of the people on here seem to think

The only thing I can think of is other coaches would have been upset such as George Allen, Vince Lambardi and Jimmy Johnson.
