As an sports photographer myself (amateur), those are awesome shots and an amazing use of flash. That is not easy to do. If the photographer that took these is a member, I would love to know the secret please PM me.

Again, timing is perfect. With flash, you only get one chance. Without it and at 8 frames per second these shots are pretty common.

Actually he does it for a hobby, but he has an amazing talent.
He took several other pictures from last nights game.

He took this picture last year during the Goldthwaite semi-final game.
