Looks like CH's defense woke up.. they look much better on this drive.. Henderson goes 3 and out.. punting from their 10 yd line

I watched them play. I haven't seen Henderson, but I've seen quite a few better in the past 8-10 years. They're good & very disciplined once the game starts, but there wasn't a "WOW" factor for me.

I watched them play. I haven't seen Henderson, but I've seen quite a few better in the past 8-10 years. They're good & very disciplined once the game starts, but there wasn't a "WOW" factor for me. Who'd you see them play? The WOW factor for me was their defense and the fact that their QB went 17/19 on us when no one else has really been successful passing against us. :thinking:

Then again.. we were just another team that lost to them.

they keep showing the crowd but it's close up so it's hard to tell just how big it is.. announcer just said more than they expected to be there

It looks like the "District of Doom" is showing their stuff tonight. I must say I'm the one who was saying I thought Chapel Hill was the best team in the state. I'm pleasantly surprised with the way this game is going. CH looks awestruck in this game, and the surroundings. They are making it a whole lot easier for Henderson. The Lion defense is good, too. I already knew that, but I'm a little surprised with CH turning the ball over so much. There's still another half to go, but it'll be tough for the Bulldogs to catch up unless the Lions make some mistakes in the second half. Go Lions and 16-3A! Show everybody why we're known as the "District of Doom" (in my deepest echoing bass voice)!!

Figures after CH played a near FLAWLESS game against the Necks last week...Dogs don't seem to be themselves with the turnovers.

Hope they have a better 2nd half.

I'm a bit shocked at CH right now. But Henderson is playing aggressively. They are a 2nd half team too. Go Lions :clap:

I watched them play Navasota and they dominated them. That doesn't change my opinion that they were good, not great, and there was no "WOW" factor for me. I have seen what I consider to be some very good, even great teams over the years. And, yes, that includes some teams from Liberty Hill.

My post was not intended as a slam at all toward Chapel Hill, nor any other team. They obviously beat some pretty darn good teams to play in the State Championship game.

Henderson has a ton of athletes. They will bring back a bunch also. I think they will be the favorite in 16 3A next year. However, they do have to come to our house!

16 3A is proving to be the best district after all. Henderson played a great game. Listening to CH talking all their mess up here really made me sick and I'm glad Henderson took it to them. Lions played as a team and overcame a lot this year.

Got a few more years before I have one hit Jr.Hi or High School. Hope I'm still able to climb the bleachers at that point.God willing I'm still here...i'll be there yelling for them to beat the Bucs.:D
