Update: Meyer has agreed in principle to a 5 year, 3 million dollar deal to be the HC/ AD at Brownwood.

Steve Spurrier. He coached there in the 90's before he went on to the NFL. I dislike that guy immensely.

Charlie Strong, Louisville head coach
Chris Petersen, Boise State head coach
Kyle Whittingham, Utah head coach

I was just going to say Mullen. Petersen would be my second bet.

That's silly. All outgoing Auburn coordinators are required to serve a stint at the University of Texas before moving on to a head coaching job.

lol good one, thats funny.

but yeah, i really think he should be their top choice. the personnel they have there works PERFECT for his system, and he's proven he can shred SEC defenses. His offense ALWAYS are tops in the country no matter where he is at..... and he is the hottest assistant right now that isn't named Holgroson. Plus, you are stealing from a conference foe.. which only helps you even more. To me... it's a no brainer.

Yeah he would. Brantley's not a Malzahn type of QB, but their other skill kids fit his system to a T and they recruited a kid a couple years back (Jordan Reed) who could develop into the perfect Malzahn QB.
