Man those Liberty Panthers are going to be tough to stop. Awesome team this year, total package.

Maybe, we'll end up meeting Bellville again this year! What a game that would be, huh?

sept 19 liberty 13 stafford 12 and you think liberty/bellville would be a good game.how and why you think so.

Just due to the simple fact of I know that Liberty's team this year is much better than the last, and I know that Bellville is somewhat improved from last years run, due to having a lot of Juniors, yet a few good seniors graduated too. Liberty did not graduate one "good" starter last year, and I was at that game last year, and Liberty did have a chance to win it, although that did not happen. I just think it would be a very good game again this year. Liberty has improved week in and week out, thats all!

Hmmmm... maybe that all state center John Arnold to name just one.

Maybe so, but he was replaced quite handily.

So, there is no loss there bro. LoL

I don't remember you talking about having a loss of strength in a position. You said that Liberty didn't graduate one "good" senior. And they did. More than one actually, I just used Arnold as an example though. I'm not trying to be an ass, just sayin.

Um, okay? So, are you saying that they are hurting in the posititions in which the "good players" graduated from last year. I think you should pay close attention to the O-Line. Your perspective of a "good player" is somewhat different than mine bro'. I'm stating that Liberty did NOT lose any particular player from last year, that is absolutely hurting the team this year. In no way what so ever is this the case. O-Line is strong and does their job. D-Line is doing outstanding. The linebackers are the same and better than ever. The secondary is just as good as last years, if not better. QB is the same guy, only more experience. Special teams does their job week in and week out. Tell me bro, in what aspect of Liberty's game are they hurting? LoL

Hey pgamgt1982 Didn't coach Parker go to Tarkington after he left Hardin.

pgamgt1982
10-22-2003, 03:41 AM
Yeah, he has a few guys on his staff that was at Hardin last year. Tarkington might not be doing so well this year, but they do have a decent staff in my opinion to turn things around in the near future. Parker is a pretty decent coach, I know he sure helped the graduates of 01' turn things around.

Liberty did not graduate one "good" starter last year...Alright dude. You see that quote of yours I have up there? You said that Liberty did not graduate one "good" starter. They did graduate at least one good starter and that is the point I am making. I never said that last years team is better than this years or that Liberty is week in any position from which a senior graduated. I'd like you to show me where I said that. I mean, we do have the ability to quote others on this board, so please do so to prove me wrong. I mentioned the all state center Liberty had, John Arnold. He was a good player. Liberty graduated him. Simple as that. And by the way, I do pay close attention to the O-line. Brian Beene, the guy who replaced Arnold happens to be a very good friend of mine.

You shouldn't argue with a college student.

If they were to meet up, Bellville has to many ways they can score, thay have a well rounded team. A rematch would be nice. If Bellville stays healthy, Bellville by 14 or more, in a rematch!
