And to the visiting team's coaches; just leave the headsets at home. You won't be able to use'em.

Im serious as a train wreck. On the visitor's side, they dont work at all. Lots of interference from the truck stop across the street and you're a million miles away from the press box. Even on the home side you'd better make sure you're box is facing the pressbox.
Why would I give a damn about who wins this game? I dont even know who the visitors are, anyway.

Why would a huge stadium like that not fix that? Even Jerry's house, as big as it is manages it ok. Or seems to.

i'm leaving bport around 2:30 or 3, that traffic on 35 and 20 gets really really bad. hope to get there around 5:30 and hopefully get a decent seat 'cause i know how fast a stadium fills up when Brownwood is involved because i have seen it for myself, a never ending flow of Lion faithful that seems to have no end!:D

Are you and Emerson going as neutral or in support of one team?

Have you seen Carthage play this year or last year?

jason

We've seen Brownwood twice this year and haven't seen carthage since they played Forney.

I'll probably be rooting for Carthage.

Carthage won't need them. I hear their football coaches are the best in the history of Texas High School Football and communicate using telepathy. Out of this world...

The week after we played yall, we played Borger at Shotwell in Abilene. I got to the stadium at 5:15. The game kicked off at 7:00, so I was 1:45 minutes early. There was a line from the gate back out to the parking lot damn near to the street.

Tarlton claims 12,500 and at the Bwd. / Bridgeport game they announced over the PA 15 minutes before the game started that Brownwood side was sold out and standing room only tickets were left.

San Angelo seats 17,500 and it was reported by Ktab TV that 16.000 were at the game. I figure being in the Metro mess plus a semi final game that it will be at capacity.

In Angelo for the BW/Monahans. I went by the stadium at 5, the game didn't start till 7 and there were fans already lined up from the ticket booth to the red light on Knickerbocker. That's approximately 2 blocks Get there early.

i wonder what the attendance was at the game - from our view there were plenty of empty seats - if it holds 15, 000, there were probably between 10k - 12k there...

Jason, that was my guess also. 12K, definetly no where near a sell-out but a great crowd.

Congrad's to Brownwood on a very good season. Your kids played very hard and you should be proud.
