My only memory of Amon Carter is watching Sweetwater lose
to Rockwall in the '88 4A semifinals. So, I can't say I'll miss the
place.

It is actually just part of a major renovation. I haven't ever been there myself.

Was this just recently? I guess Amon Carter won't be hosting a bowl game this year..

SMU is hosting the Armed Forces Bowl this year. I believe SMU is actually playing in it as well.
