Great game by both teams tonight. First off, congrats on Tatum for a great season. They came out and gave it all they had for 4 quarters.

I was very impressed with the crowd we had tonight...we unloaded. As far as the game...I thought we had a great game on defense. For the most part we were able to contain the run game of Tatum very well. We had a pretty good night offensively as well. The wind did play its roll....and of course not having our top WR hurt.

Looking forward to next week.

Yea, we did our damage on offense as needed W/O DD Westbrook. Westbrook is our leading receiver, but tonight Rinn stepped it up with his great hands and Brashear was a beast as usual. Just goes to show how deep our offensive game is. Our best receiver goes down and of course the others step up, and Dayo just flat out showed what Cameron speed is all about. Hopefully DD will be back next week, and our offense can be full power again. GO oYe

Our East Texas speed was shut down last night due to two very good D linemen number 74 and 58. We could not block them. They would penetrate and the line backers had free lanes. The Yoe offensive line won this game. We could not get to the QB, he had all night to find a receiver. We dropped four easy interception passes that were pick six. We dropped half a dozen passes for first downs. You can not do that against one of the two best teams in 2A football(Cameron Yoe and Dangerfield) if you want to beat them. I knew we would have our hands full with the Yoe, but I thought with the way we played the passed two weeks, we could win. The Yoe were the better team. Good luck untill you play Dangerfield, I will have to pull for a fellow East Texas team. If Dangerfield does not make it, I will pull for the Yoe.

Your post is very refreshing, you give credit where credit is due and even though you pointed out some plays that your team did not make--you admitted that on this night, the best team won. At this level of the playoffs, it is often the team that executes best that wins.

Cameron has the type team that I believe could still be in the 3A playoffs right now. When they are clicking they are damned good. Tatum has nothing to hang thier head about. On another night, they could have been the winner in this game.
