cody cummings - 18 rushes - 152 yds, 1 td, 8.4 yd/rush, 3 - 2 pt rushing conversions

sherman gilbert - 17 rushes - 147 yds, 3 tds, 8.6 yd/rush, 1 catch - 55 yds

together - 25 rushes, 299 yds, 8.5 yd/rush.....

in their scheme they'll never have enough touches to put the super numbers many see out here sometime, but its amazing.....

Carthage QB, Anthony Morgan wasn't the biggest or fastest player on the field last night but he was the difference in the Argyle v Carthage game. Rushing- 7-40- 3 TD
Passing- 18-29-205-1 TD
I am not from Carthage but I know what I saw. That kid was great!

I will throw one out there for Brownwood but I have already thrown out todays paper so someone else will have to get his stats.

Luke Chaistain for the Lions. He has not played a since the last regular game of the season against Wylie when he bruised his hip. He had a big game last night on both offense and defense.

Someone please help me with the stats...

Here's Luke's offensive numbers. I think his biggest contribution was on defense.

Chastain, a senior receiver, had seven catches for 87 yards and two touchdowns. It was his first full game since an injury against Sweetwater in the Lions’ ninth game.

I thought he got injured in the Wylie game when he tried to leap a defender? Was he hurt the week before?

I think I just messed up and wasn't supposed to post on this thread. Sorry!!

Glad to see that Luke is back. BTW, his dad told me it was a pulled groin, not his hip.

What makes you think his dad knows more than me about Luke... j/k, then I suppose it was a pulled groin.

Wimberley's RB Trinity Wilson took over in the 2nd half as the Texans pulled away from Navarro. He had 132 of his rushing yards after the break.

16 carries for 170 yards and 3 TD's.
Played both ways most of the game.

In all seriousness, that kid was the difference in the game! He was fantastic and the numbers don't tell the whole story on him. After the 1st 3 series, which were all 3 and out, he converted 10 of 12 3rd downs and 1-1 on 4th down. The other 4th down was a FG, not an attempt to convert it. I know that there are other players with better resume's but let there be no doubt, he was the best player on the field! He should get POW honors!

1st play was for 1st down. Then 3 straight 3 and outs.

Anthony Morgan Carthage

Stats listed earlier....and I am to lazy to look them up.

But his stats don't tell the whole story. You have to see him play.
