I've got the bracket and can give you game times. As far as results go unfortunately I have to work so I won't be able to give them game by game.

Canton beat Crandall
Van was up big on Carrolton Christian last I heard

Glen Rose plays at 6:55 tonight

Yep they were 3A as recently as 2002. Gainesville used to always meet them at the Region II-3A basketball tournament every year when I was in high school.

I just watched them play and wow they have an impressive 1A squad. They have three 6'5'' kids. Two are sophmores and one is a freshman. Good looking athletes and only 1 senior on the team.

Results so far from memory so I don't have scores:

Van over Carrrolton Christian
Athens over Van
WF Hirshchi over Princeton
Brownsboro over West Sabine
Kennedale over North Lamar
Lovejoy over Bullard
Canton over Crandall
Liberty Eylau over North Forney
Clarksville over Rains
Clarksville over Glen Rose

Great championship game, it was tied at the half, Kennedale up by 2 or so after 3. Kennedale pulled away in the 4th.

Kennedale has a freshman PG that is really good. Doesn't hurt to have 6'10" and 6'5" post players either.

For Clarksville I can't image the 1A team that beats these guys. Their 6'5" sophmore was the best player in the tourney. The kid plays way above the rim. I heard they had about 2 practices comming out of football before this tourny, impressive.

Will be in the mix for a playoff spot but they are not a lock to get in. The 6'3" freshman is gonna be good. Team needs a shooter.
