Has any team ever shuttled their QBs, after every play, and been successful at it? Usually, a coach will send in a play using a wide receiver or, occasionally, a running back. But, until this past Friday, I had never seen a team switch QBs after every single play.

Anybody out there seen this before and, if so, was it successful?

The buffs did it in 1986 and were region co-champs, and it worked. This coach has not figured out yet that it will not work with the one's he has got. Giddings needs a real football coaches.

Aledo did it in '98, and won it all. They even had a designated "running QB" and a "throwing QB"!

Although many think Garcia cost the Buffs in that final game and should not have had as much playing time, I agree that these two QBs are not as good as the ones in '86. You sure are quick to criticize. From your past posts Old Buff I can tell that you believe you know a thing or two ...Who would you play at QB?

Amazing... You would think that shuttling the QBs would upset the rhythm of the offense.

Rockdale rotated 3 quarterbacks by series.
1 graduated, the other is tossing for Roundrock now, and the other is starting in Rockdale.

Teams that shuttle quarterbacks usually have quarterbacks that each are a little better in the other in some way. In Giddings however there is a complete lack of talent from both players. Neither is a speed demon, neither has a cannon, and neither has accuracy. So this means start the young guy, in this case Spacek so by the time he is a senior he can have developed a good arm, speed, and alertness.
