I guess FIFA right now is all about breaking new ground as opposed to putting on the best show.

England and/or the USA would have been terrific. I'd have even been fine with Australia.

But Qatar...seriously?

ok....some thing I have never understood........why is soccer refered to as a communist sport? I don't think it was invented by the communist...I don't even think there has ever or was ever a communist country that perfected it either..........but I have seen on this board as well as others and have heard people say it.............just wondering.
