Could someone fill me in on the Victoria stadium. Seating capacity, grass or turf, parking, location of stadium, etc. Thanks

Zippy, go back a couple of pages and research for yourself. This answer has been given in several posts already.

Excuse Me!...I didn't mean to bring up a old post. I guess I'll get all the answers when I have a hour or so of free time to do the research thru the old post.

btw....Big19...if you'd of maybe posted the title of the other post that addressed this your post would'nt have sounded so pointed.

It's a pretty nice stadium, I don't know the capacity but I'd guess around 8,000. It's a Fieldturf field, the artificial turf that looks and plays like grass. I haven't been in two years, so I can't give exact directions, but it's by the high school. Parking is pretty good too.

Actually I don't know which posts they were, right off the top of my head. Saw them this morning when I was reviewing post from the weekend. I just know it was talked about in several different locations.

It is a very nice stadium. I notice how well the Sinton fans remember, as well they should. They took care of the Brahmas when we played them there. A game I'll never forget, for lots of reasons.

I definitely remember that game. One of the best I'd ever seen. Definitely found some respect for the Brahmas that day. wink As for the stadium, to be fair, we play there a LOT! It's our home away from home.

Well Sinton's been playin a non-district game there for the last 4 years.Plus your Brahmas,Cuero and Gonzales in the play-offs.Who knows, maybe Bellville and Sinton will be playin each other there in non district next two years.

I think Sinton & Bellville will be playing each other again next year just not in victoria. Suppose to be playin each other in the Alamo Dome.

The stadium sounds like it's got lots of room for all the fans from Burnet, as well as the band and drill team; but where are Wharton fans going to sit?

Do the seats at Victoria have backs on them?Looks like, according to the panaromic view above, that the home side has some backs, but Burnet will be on the visitor's side and it did not look like there was any there. Aren't you going to stand most of the game anyway? That is what most should be doing at least.

Seating capacity is between 14 and 15,000. No track so you are right on the field. Surface is Field Turf. Artificial to look like Bermuda Grass. Cuero's players said it is a little hard on the ankles but other than that it was great. Some home seats have backs but if you are over 6 foot your knees will hit the guy in front of you. Sound system is second to none. Scoreboard got blown over by the hurricane but it is back up and running. Lots and lots of parking. Parking costs $1. If you are coming in from Burnet/Austin on US 87. Take a left when you hit town on Loop 463. Go about 4-5 miles to Airline Drive. Hang a right and go until you see the stadium on your right. Maybe on my next post I will hit the dining hotspots of Victoria!!!!

I would guess the HEB Classic but one of the players from this years Sinton squad told me that...not positive though.

With a few changes to the 360 degree photo, the field posts are now for some reason or another lime green and the score board is totaly different as mentioned earlier, claudette blow the old one down... If you are going to the game I know that it most everyone wants to part in the parking lots, but because after the game there is such a rush the traffic is horrible on Home side, so I suggest if you are home side to either park in the parking across the street, which is free just abit of a walk, it's a field opposite the stadium and alittle to the right, or on Stadium drive(the street running along side it the Stadium) The only seats that have backs on them are the first 10 or so row on home side from I think the 40 to the 40... If you want to eat before or after the game somewhere other then fast food coming from cuero make a right on Navarro you(as you come in) can't miss it the light at the first overpass, off the loop going towards 59. :D

Anyway if you knew the real reason we stood up during the whole Jasper Game you would die laughing.
