Over Thanksgiving, I traveled east to visit my family. During my travels, I had the pleasure of driving thru the following 3a towns.
Burnet
Lampasas
Caldwell
Madisonville
Center

After Thanksgiving, I got brave and headed to my mom's, which took me thru:
Carthage
Henderson
Chapel Hill
(The East Texas gas I put in my car in Tyler made my car go faster)

Then on the way home:
Brownboro
Athens
La Vega (Belmeade)
Gatesville

What 3a towns did you travel thru or plan to travel thru this holiday Season?

3a downlow.....What say you?

If you gas up in South Texas, your vehicle will run very slow and actually shrink in size.;)

Slow? Hell I filled up in South Texas over the holidays and my truck didn't shrink in size.
But, it was sluggish out of the gate and came
to a complete stop while simply trying to
back peddle out of the drive way. Good thing
I found an auto parts store that sold performance enhancers or I might still be on the road
trying to get home.

I did that once...it took forever. Normally I just go 249 to the Beltway, then south to 59.

I used to go that way all the time when I was in Magnolia. Heck of a lot less traffic. On Fridays, US59 south out of Houston is a bear until you get past Rosenberg.

From Houston to Orange.... I hit ZERO 3A towns (Hamshire and Fannett are two small towns just East of I-10 so they would prolly be the closest, and there is an area of I-10 that is zoned to Orangefield just west of Orange)
