You are definately right Giddings played a hell of a game.

So Did Newton It certainly did live up to the hype of one of the best games in 3a this year.

Newton Had a great team especially that #2 running back.

If we could have stopped him we would have had the game wrapped up...

I did say from the start that if Newton was going to win they would have to be able to pass the ball...(I said this under another nic 3afootball4life) And they just couldn't get the passing going.

Giddings however had a great passing game especially with the HB pass...

I Must say though it is funny how much trash that newton was talking to giddings and when everything is said and done and giddings comes out on top only one person from newton steps up to say Congradulations to Giddings....

As a high school football fan and an Eagle Dad, I think that was one of the best games I have ever saw. I don't believe you could have found two more evenly matched teams. Both teams played a great ball game. Congratulations to Giddings. Newton players hold your head high. You had a great year and played a hell of a game.
