WC has not played the level of competition that CH has. NV beat #6 Sealy 33-17 and was supose the best team we have faced all year which is saying alot putting them over Athens and Carthage. You remember what happened last week CH 42 NV 13. I think CH shocked NV.

I'm not big on this north south east and west texas football. But I do think east texas teams play better competion thru regular season. 16 3a is a good example. It could be possible to have two state champs from our 17 3a district.

All this being said, I think CH will shock WC tomorrow night. Get ready because you have had some close games 28-21, 23-17, 36-27, 51-41 and CH WILL be the BEST you have seen all year.

ok Chillfan, let me say this one more time....... I wish you the best of luck TRYING to shut down #9, you have to go through the line to do it and that wont be easy, and if you do he can handle anything CH has! Our kids are like family and we protect our family with every thing we have!! They play as a team the best I have ever seen in a team! Our Dline is also going to show up, nicknamed the pain train. You may think you know how this is going to go, but when we take the field and make that first touchdown, don't be too upset...........

I just got home, as well from our community pep rally. Our boys are ready and pumped. They want this! They play with heart you can see! We are so proud of them!!!

I hope both teams are injury free and you all have a safe trip down, and see some sights around Houston, I would hate for it to be a wasted trip for all of you. Go have some dinner somewhere in Houston, we are having Hot Dogs...............

I'm not defending 77 on this! Both team should have been playing in the Reg. IV championship game that's my opinion!

If our coaches would have punted that ball away instead of trying to be tricky who knows if the necks would have scored the 1st TD so easlily ? 35 yards wasnt far to go! The Necks end around pass was a legit TD. The TD the Necks got one play after the INT. that bounced on the ground ( watch it at caller.com sports not hard to find ) that one hurt the most -7 and that game would have been tied-up!!----- Ifs and buts

Why bash a young man! He wished both teams well! He just wishs his season wouldn't have come down to a Ref making a bone head call that he wasnt even in position to make!

Dont think the half attempt to make it look like Sinton might go for it was the problem, the problem was nobody block the lineman right up the middle and came in untouched. A 4th down play that #9 made after being chased in the backfield kept that short drive going and was only a glimps of what he would be able to do the rest of the night to help lead his team to a win. WC came up with big plays when they needed them and hopefully has plenty of them left for TCH. good luck tonight. Is it being web cast?

Have not seen CHill play this year however with them beating Navasota pretty handily, I knew they had to be one of the best teams in 3A. Sad they will not get to play Brownwood , so everyone would know who the best team in State is.

CH is by FAR the best team I've seen in 3A this year (Wimberley included).

Solid passing game, running backs that just flat our run through, around, and over everyone, and GREAT lines (offense and defense).


Our lines got pushed around and CH just pounded us. No excuses, the better team won.


#70 is an animal on the d line. End of story.


Daymond made a few nice runs, but he was contained pretty well. CH's defense is everywhere!

Not a fan of all the taunting they did...walking on the field as a team just makes you look silly...and some of the hits seemed late and questionable...but all part of it.

Congrates Chapel Hill job well done. I can't say I agreed with our game plan, but the coaches come up with what they think will work and just could not make the ajustments needed to stop this freight train!!! I have to say one thing that Columbia could pride themselves on was there ability to physically wear down there opponents but tonight they were winded a had there hands on there hips before halftime. Thats says alot for Chapel Hills strength and conditioning. Good luck next week.

We were in your shoes last year against Carthage, after the first quarter pretty much everyone knew what the outcome would be. I would have loved to seen Carthage and Gilmer go at it, would have been one hell of a game. Congrats to WC, you guy's had a great year. CHill, think you know what's next for you. Win State.

He does his job every play, occupies lineman, keeps his backers free, and rallies to the football. Very impressed with his play. Defensive team speed for CH was really good!

Great season Necks. I enjoyed the game. I hope we get to do this again next year. CHill is the a really good football team and will win the State Championship without a doubt. Can run it throw it and stop any offense. I love #2 and their D Line just get after you on every snap and that has more to do with their winning than anything else. #9 for WC is a real football player thought he was going to break out a few times and Chill had players there to get him down. You've got a point coach. Holland the stud RB for Carthage only had 40+/-. Lindale's RB Ryzman put up some major #'s this year. Big, fast runner and CH held to under 100. NV's good QB had under 30. Both madisonville's RB's were held to nothing.

Keep in mind, the last drive was against our 2nd string. Not to discredit Lewis, he's talented.

CH isnt losing many this year. I expect them to be equally talented or better. 1 reciever, 1 olineman, 2 dlineman (#52 and #70 and #53 return) 2 lbs (lee will be hard to replace) and 1 in the secondary i believe. RB's #21 and #20 return along with the QB.
