I haven't done this yet but here goes. Since September I have had 2 family members diagnosed with cancer.
First my StepDad of 30 years has inoperable brain cancer. He had a cancerous kidney removed 2 years ago and went through radiation and did not have a sign of cancer until he went for his checkup this last September. It is in his lungs and brain. He has 5 lesions in his brain with one the size of my fist. He has lasted longer than we thought. He is 69. My Mom already buried my Dad in 1983 so this is tough on her. He is being kept comfortable with pain meds....
Second is my sister in law. She is 53 and has stage 2 anal cancer. She is currently going through chemo and painful radiation. It was so bad they had to suspend radiation until after Thanksgiving weekend because of burns and blisters from it. She has her first brand new year old grand daughter and just moved to their dream lakefront home in Graham, TX. Please pray for her to make it through 3 more weeks of this treatment and her comfort in the pain area. My brother is beside himself because he can't help her pain. they are giving her morphine and she still moans in pain all day and night.
