Today is my 52nd birthday. I guess my question for others is, what major events affecting our country if any, do you remember happening on your birthday. Mine was early on when I was five. President Kennedy was assassinated that day. Even at that age, I still remember the b/w tv coverage and the frightening sound of my mother screaming, Oh My God!!

The 16- year old daughter of a good friend of my s-i-l, died in a late night one-car turn over on my birthday: Nov 13. As much as I love to celebrate my BD, I think about the family's sad day every year.
