Some interesting stats can be found about those outside the state. Notice a lot of the defensive stats are held by Texas teams :)

We (okay, where my kids attend(ed) school that I'm a t-shirt fan of! :p ) are in there twice. I didn't realize we hit it again in 2006. My middle baby had something to do with that. :inlove:

Brownwood is 209 points away from tying the most points scored in a season.

for a 11-12 game season the record is 748 points back in 1930.

Refugio 12th game will be this friday and if they score 63 points like last week they break the record. They're at 686 points for the season through 11 games.

Nice list, but not very accurate. Bridgeport should have two QB's on that list in passing yards in a career, and at least one in passing yards in a season.

I agree...there should be a Decaturs chandler dane for passing and brian christian for receiving yds career

I did some research, and schools have to report records with proof of the records so B Port and Decatur would have to get on that

Dang, look at the most offensive plays in one season. Stephenville has the #1 and #2 spot.

1,037 Stephenville, TX, 1993 (16)
944 Stephenville, TX, 1994 (16)

That was crazy awesome to watch. I'm a little shocked that Kociuba didn't make it in there for career rushing.

they have shared the wealth as far as scoring goes.

10 kids have at least 1 Recieving TD
8 kids with at least 1 rushing TD (3 kids with over 14 though)

Kicker has made 84 extra points.

Been fun to watch...hopefully I get to see a few more of them this season.

Great information. It's a little difficult to compare win streaks of teams that do not play for state titles with those that do. De La Salle for instance. Yes they won a lot in a row, but a private school that was not part of a program with 200 other teams playing in an elimanation tournament appears to have a slight advantage in the win streak catagory. Also, most state titles is a litte subjective too. Teams that play in states with 30 schools may have a slight advantage in winning state titles, especially in a one game or two game playoff tournament.

Still, great information and these are just my observations.

noticed a lot of omissions in the national book, like no jordan shipley, no graham harrell, etc.
