Due to the fact that this weekend is the only weekend I'll get to watch some HS playoff action and Saturday for me is reserved for the NCAA D-II playoff game in Kingsville I was wondering what is the BEST game I could catch on Friday night.............

1. 5A-- Harlingen (12-0) vs. SA Stevens (9-3) 6PM at Calallen
2. 3A-- Navarro (10-2) vs. Mathis (10-2) 7:30 at Judson's Rutledge Stadium
3. 2A--- Poth (12-0) vs. Refugio (12-0) 7:30 at El Campo

I'm kind of leaning toward the Poth/Refugio matchup, I'm anxious to see the Bobcats in action, but the other 2 could be good also

All those should be good.

If you want to see a great game go to the game at the CalCat stadium. Stevens will give Harligen fits. (it IS closer, too lol)

Go Hoggies!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

The game at Calallen will be close to Kingsville, but that one would be my last choice. I can see Refugio blowing out Poth, so the 3A game may be the best choice.

If you go SA you can catch two games. 2 pm is Calallen at SA Alamo Heights and then at 7 pm the Mathis vs Navarro game. I plan on watching those 2 games. .

Hey Bull Butter, was it you that i met at a Robstown vs Port Isabel baseball game?

I don't know about the other games, but the Harlingen-Stevens game was a good one - went two overtimes.
