That is about right. Aggies are the highest ranked 3 loss team.

Computers aren't a fan of a&m. They do have one extra loss then Nebraska. The top ranked Big 12 teams have all lost to another big 12 team so every team has the "we beat them" argument.

A&M has wins over the #8 ranked team TWICE this season compared to someone like Va Tech who has a loss AT HOME to JAMES MADISON and their 2 best wins are against the #23 and #24 teams in the bcs.

If A&M loses weren't in a row would be different story

VA Tech benefits from losing early in the year too. Lose two late in the year and you never can catch up.

That's what I was thinking. Nebraska dropped from 8th to 15th with the loss to A&M. A win doesn't automatically jump team A over team B.

...is it just me or does VA Tech ALWAYS get love from the coaches and computers both in the bowl season and during the preseason and they always choke and lose 3-4 games a year and finish either in the #20's or worst

Nope, not just you. The ACC and the Big East are worse EVERY year than the Big 12 is this year.

I think the big xii is a weak conference.......but I will agree with you the big east and acc are weaker and get way too much love.

MWC conference should get an auto-bid over Big East. ACC at least has some schools that have potential to be good (Miami, VA Tech, Florida State).

TCU is doomed if Boise State wins out. They'll be headed to another BCS bowl that nobody cares about like against the Big East champ or something.

Just curious does BCS stand for Bull Crap System?

This junk needs to go, A&M is a good example of how the system just does not take account for adjustments (ie Tannehill) and a team that peaks at the right time (when play offs would start for real football)...........

Its a real problem with college football..........the home of paper champs

but why not then go back to what it was before? Coaches and sports writers voting for their national champion?

and the bowl system back to what it was before...

as long as their is voting then there will never be a true champion and I feel that the playoff system will never happen
