Old rivals Calallen and Gregory-Portland meet at Cabaniss Field for the right to take on Alamo Heights next week.

G-P beat Calallen 13-9 on Sept. 3rd which is Cal's only loss this year. It's the first-ever playoff meeting between the two who have met 55 times, with G-P holding a 30-24-1 series lead.

I bet the game thread of the 4A board was "on fire" 15 minutes after they knew they were playing. :D

Not this season. GP has their own board and they just sort of lurk over there and make videos about Calallen.

Haunting memories still bug me when I played football for Robstown back in the 4A days with these 2 teams esp. Calallen. I hope we stay in 3A for awhile, don't want any other kid going through the crap we had to go thought with that buzzsaw 4A district. lol
