Huffman TD. Navasota makes a couple of big plays, but both were followed by bigger Falcon plays. DeBerry complete to Julian for a 24 yard TD.

XP is no good.

Navasota puts together a good drive and has a double drive killer. A personal foul called on Taylor, a bobbled snap makes it 3rd and 29. A 19 yard rush by Day makes it 4th and 10. A apparent Tevin Creeks TD reception is called out of bounds on the landing. Huffman ball.

Jeez. Huffman spreading the field and running successfully up the middle. 73 yard drive with 5 first downs and scores on a 6 yard run by Larsen.

I don't think Navasota can stop Huffman yet. They have not been able to stop them since that first turnover on downs.

13 yard TD pass DeBerry to Julian.

2 PT is good.

Navasota goes 3 and out. Punt is fumbled, ball goes into the endzone, but Martin gets it and gets back out to the Falcon 2. I don't think I can take a 98 yard drive. Come on Rattler D!!!

Larsen fumbles, Xavier Creeks runs it back 15 yards for a Rattler TD!!!!!

XP is no good, but Huffman flagged for personal foul. 2 PT run from 1 by Jones is good!

END OF 3RD NAVASOTA 36 HUFFMAN 26.

Huffman driving again, at the Navasota 17 1st and 10. Huffman outsnapped Navasota 26-6 in the third, and have gained five first downs on this drive alone. 11 in the quarter. I don't think Navasota will really stop them. Have to hope for some turnovers and matching scores from the Rattler O.

Cody Small picks DeBerry off and returns it to the Falcon 28. However....

A melee erupts after the play, offsetting personal fouls, and an unsportsmanlike on Huffman. Half the distance, Rattler ball 1st and 10 at the Falcon 14.

14 yard TD Kesnick Jones!!!

Unsportsmanlike on Jones, enforced on kickoff.

Huffman nearly tripled Navasota on first downs! They out-rushed and out-passed Navasota, with the lions share of yardage and first downs coming in the second and third quarters. But the turnovers were costly, and their special teams gave up a TD return on a kickoff, a fumbled punt that was recovered at their own 2, which led to a offensive fumble that was returned for a TD, and had two offsides penalties on their kickoffs. The Navasota defense kind of reverted to the old bend but don't break style of play, with Huffman's largest gain of the night a 24 yard TD pass. The next longest gains by the Falcons were a 19 yard rush on 2nd and 18 following a sack, and two rushes on second down by Larson of 15. The Falcon coach was content finding the sticks and gashing us up the middle on draws. It worked well, but I think that the Rattlers answering every Falcon score quickly eventually took the wind out of their sails.

Good game Falcons, you showed the Rattler defense where it is weakest, and I believe the Rattler coaching staff will take note and work out a good game plan for the next high powered offense from the Chapel Hill Bulldogs!

Go Rattlers!!!

They didn't sound too bad on the broadcast. It sounded like they let them play a lot, until the melee after the late interception. The Navasota guys were saying that some of the spots seemed to favor Huffman, but I did notice that in 43 pass attempts, Huffman did not have a single holding penalty. But neither did Navasota.

Fill us in, HEMOTOXIC.

The QB is good.

We only gave up 6 points in the second half. Two of their touchdowns were questionable as it appeared that th receiver was out of bounce both times when he caught the ball.

Anyways, its the playoffs and anything can happen. Huffman played a great game.
