Yeah, this was for sure fumbled. This should of been looked into way earlier and eventually decided, this wasn't a viable venue for football.

what the heck? you would think the big x would've checked out the set up of the field and done their homework on safety before they even scheduled to play this game at this site..........you re right what a joke...................maybe all those big x higher ups missed the day facilities and safety was taught in their sports mangement classes..........idiots.

Yeah, that's BS, saw the pics when they were posted here the other day and commented that regardless of the padding, there was still a brick wall just a few feet behind the end zone... you said it, a joke!

football has been played there before.the problem was how they designed it for this game

It was played there before they redesigned the outfield bleachers and added premium seats along the 3rd base line...the old field used to run from around home plate out to center...this field runs from 3rd base to right field

This game will take 4 - 5 hours to play with as many stoppages as they will have to have to switch things around.

Oh, i didn't realize, so the new designer had an epic fail. Either way due diligence was not done and now they are adjusting the way normal game play is played.

Why didn't they just make the 48 or 49 yard line the center of the field?

That would pick up and extra 2 or 4 yards at the end zone.
