Dear friends, It seems the LORD would have me walk down another path.
My Dr called today telling me that my Diabetis are causing my kidney
to go into failure. Normally, not an urgent problem, excepy I only have 1 kidney, losing the other to cancer about a year and a half ago. I appreciate you all.

charlie, two weeks ago i was flying high, kicking butt and taking names, and, low and behold get a call from my dr that my blood tests showed me to be in complete renal failure.....surprise of my life, having no prior symptoms....

i type this from a dialysis chair this morning....haven't really wanted to talk about what's going on with me but i really appreciate your wake up call that things can always be worse....i, at least, have two kidneys that i'm praying wake up from some bad meds i was taking....

pray for me, buddy, that mine are just needing to recouperate and wake up....and since i have two of them and you only have one, i'll pray twice as much and as hard for you......your not alone, and He is so good.....

Thank you both for sharing with us a part of you lives that helps bring perspective to the all too often self consuming nature of what goes on here. I'm not much of a prayer, but I'd like to think I'm a fighter, so fight on... as long as you still have the ball, there's always a chance to win.

I really appreciate everyone one of you.
It's really comforting to have your thoughts and
prayers. The VA is sending me to an endocrinologist,
hopefully they can get the diabetis under control.
Since I just have one kidney, hopefully this will
control the chronic kidney disease. Thank-you again.
