Godley is close to us (Granbury) and they are pretty good. Not sure about Littlefield though.

Who else is on tap for the Bowl this weekend?

Yea, even if it's not a good game you should see a good team in Godley from our 2A Ranks. I believe Godley is ranked either 2nd or right in front of us at 3rd. Unfortunately, the best game in 2A this year might not happen for a couple weeks. If Tatum beats Marlin and the next game and we win this week against Newton and then win next week, that should put Cameron vs. Tatum for the Region 3 title. IF that happens i'm telling you that WILL be the best game in 2A ALL Year, even better than the Championship games. GO oYe

I would have agreed with you on my Tatum Eagles when we were playing like we did against the five 3a teams in non district, but we have not played with any passion or fire in our district games. Yes we won and won kinda easy, but if we keep playing like we have, we won't see the YOE. If we play like we did against Gilmer and Pitt everybody is in trouble.

I think a New Boston/Daingerfield rematch is going to be a hum dinger!!!! I went and saw that game a few weeks ago, if New Boston plays mistake free, they just might...........

It won't be enough for Dangerfield, I think there are only two teams that can beat them and that is Tatum and the YOE. With that said, both will have to play the best game they have played all year, one mistake and Dangerfield puts 6 points on the board.
They have a defense that can score as easy as most offenses. The only weakness they have is they play 5 to 6 guys both ways and they lost one of the star linebackers for the year. They still have big Steve and they got mims back, so they are still the team to beat for the championship.

I agree with you but New Boston is good enough to sneak up on Daingerfield if Dfield isnt on. Im gonna head to Palestine on Saturday and see Tatum dismantle Marlin.

I talked with some coaches this week and they were happy with how the boys have practiced so far. He said they were hitting harder than they have in four weeks. He said the seniors have really been hard on the others getting to the next gear. They have brought up the JV and those guys are trying to impress the coaches and they are trying to help the starters get ready. Hope you see the the real Tatum Eagles. If they show up it will get ugly fast.

I hope you are right, but I forgot about another team out there and they are the Crockett Bull dogs. I think they have the speed, size and depth to play with anybody in 2A. I can not tell by the teams they have played by how good they are, but they have blown people away with only one loss to I think Cold springs.
So I will add them to the mix. Three very good teams on our side of the bracket. If we win or loose I still believe the champ will come from one of these three.
