Prayer request for 44INAROW's granddaughter

Just got a call from 44IAR. Please pray for her granddaughter, Alex. She has been rushed to the ER and into surgery with what she thinks might be appendicitis.

She said they were all together last night (dinner) and that Alex was just fine and around noon her parents took her in and the docs are going in soon.

Let's all pray for a successful surgery and speedy recovery for Alex.

OMG, I got a text this afternoon "saying Alex was being admitted, appendicitis, etc...and I thought someone had accidently texted me...it never dawned on me that it was from 44inarow or about our little Alex!

Lorey, you are ALL in my prayers, please keep me posted and forgive me for being such an idiot. That does it, I have always had your number in my wallet, now I am saving it to my phone. I need a sign that says "too dumb to be your friend":(

Just got home - I knew she'd be fine with prayers from my good friends on the 3aDownlow.. Alex was in recovery when I left the hospital a little before 10PM - Dr was pleased that there wasn't any infection or messy stuff in her abdomen so they got it out in time. Scary stuff - things can happen in the blink of an eye.. Thanks Rita for posting and I really do appreciate the prayers.. Alex is gonna be a little DIVA by the time she recovers :) There is a picture of her right before they took her into the operating room on my Facebook page. thanks again.. this grandmother is going to get a good night's sleep (unlike Alex's mom, who'll be trying to sleep on that cushioned bench aka sofa bed in Alex hospital room ;)
