42-0 and kville has a stud lb # 34...cant remember his name but he was all over the field against brownsboro and they have a solid running game with 2 guys carrying the load

Kirbyville probably has the best running back in 3a. They actually have a 3 back combination that is hard to pin down. Ford has over 2000 yards rushing this season and the other two backs have around 1000 each. Combined they have 46 TD on the year. Ford is avg 10 yards a carry with only 200 touches. They have a good QB with two good receivers but obviously havent seen that many passing attempts. When they do go to the pass they are effective. Kirbyville probably has the best defense they have had in school history. Very fast and discipline. Breed the middle LB #34 is the real deal. He is quick, will be in every play at the ball and will hurt you!

Yeah....:rolleyes: You have been getting on our kids for 3 weeks now it is just getting old. When a team goes from 8 wins in 5 years to 9-2 people are going to be excited about it. Don't need a saggy aggie to come in and try to rain down on their accomplishments.

Yes, they mix the pass with the run very well. Their passing game has getton better each week.

They do have a good passing game. They do a good job of mixing it up. QB is 66/133 for over 1400 yards and 14 td for the season. The 1400 yards is mixed pretty even between several receivers that they move around alot.

. actually he's completed almost a third of his passes all year (19/63) to cucancic, the most anyone else has is 9.....that combo was rough on wos in their game.....

LaVega lost to gatesville by 3 and beat china spring by 16. They are not impressive. Sorry, if KVille is even decent, this is a blowout

I heard the same thing about La Vega but I think that Kirbyville will be ready for them. Not to mention that Kirbyville is very athletic on both sides of the ball also.

La Vega seems to be very streaky. When they are on, they are awesome. They have tremendous speed and can run out of tackles. This killed China Spring this year when we played them.

However, they are a bit undisciplined as most La Vega teams are. They also don't have as much talent as they have had the last few years.

I pick Kirbyville by 21, but if La Vega gets going quick, it can be closer.

Kirbyville is a LOT better than their 2008 and 2009 2A state-runner up teams so this should be a classic matchup! LaVega is extremely talented for sure... Kirbyville's biggest test of the year since West Orange Stark. So, respectfully, I hope your wrong with you're prediction Rabid Cougar.

WLV's last 2 district games were less than impressive. Unless they improved dramatically in 1 week. I think they had 1 good game and Fairfield just wasn't that good. Kirbyville blow out if they are half as good as they say
