They are from Geranamo (sp?) near Seguin. They are in the district with Wimberley.

They run the Slot-t...and quit well i might add. They mix it up well on offense. They are a pretty good ball club.

they used to be a Homecoming game-team (years ago) but evidently, they've turned that around ;)

They are in our district and are located between San Marcos and Seguin on Texas 123.They look(purple) and play(slot T) like Liberty Hill but with a better passing game. They play hard for 4 quarters no matter the score.Well coached team!

Navarro has a little bit of speed in the back field, above average horses up front (but not huge), a pretty darned good QB, and a coach who will go for it when its 4th and 10 on their own 40. On side kicks to start off the game wouldnt surprise me. Trick plays (hook and ladder) will be pulled out too. Small # of kids...I think I counted 30 or so in our game. They play with a lot of heart, and they wont give up. If you get them down...make sure they dont get back up.

Good program with great kids! Just moved up to 3A this year and turned in 461 for enrollment. Geronimo is 7 miles N of Seguin on Hwy 123 and is sandwiched between Seguin, NB Canyon and San Marcos ISD's.

They were good enough to be LH so they must be somewhat good I would guess

Geronimo Navarro was a 2A school for a very long time, and they were just an average team in most years, making and missing the playoffs depending on how the re-alignment moved them (i.e. with district mates like Rogers and Lexington or ones from further south). I think the slot-t is a new addition to them, and it appears that they have finally found a formula that works.

Dont know much about the areaq specifically so i cant say if they will continue to be 3A or move back down, but i am surprised that they have had such success in 3A given their mixed results in 2A. Great season for them, though, and i can't help rooting for the emerging teams.
