You can sit here and pull up all the stats on how we won't be able to score points because of common opponents, thats fine. Just know Robstown only numbers they care about is in the scoreboard and will do it anyway they can to get those points. Like the HC for Robstown said earlier this week, "stats are for losers".

Dude I know you are proud of team but the Dawgs are almost as good as US. I know any team can be beaten at anytime and I could be wrong about this game. Sweeny is a team that got beat by Brookshire-Royal and WC twice. Twice because they had to go play Needville the next week all Beat up. Anyway good luck.

Teams matchup differently and Robstown and Sweeny will find out how they matchup with each other in few hours :) . Heading out around 11:30 but have to pick up couple of more in Sinton. This should be a really good game, if Robstown can throw on Sweeny they will be fine. The downside to this is Sweeny has a very good secondary and play man to man. The cornerbacks will frustrate the recievers because Sweeny is very quick on the corners and will run step for step with recievers. The youngman Horton for Sweeny is a awesome corner and you will not get many passes over him. Good luck to both teams.

Sweeny has put this game away with solid D and big plays on offense. Robstown with no running room and only thing open is passing game and missing on those. Sweeny vs Wimberley should be a great matchup.

What most people don't realize is that Sweeny hasn't "been themselves" most of the year. Sure, they won games, but they weren't playing like SWEENY. They typically win this district every year. This year they were 3rd. When they hit on all cylinders they are a very good team. Not quite sure what their issue(s) were this season, but they appear to have sorted a few of them out today.

I wanna thank the Robstown Cottonpickers a wonderful season and my cousin Leo Rendon and the rest of the seniors class. You guys made the city of Robstown and the rest of the Coastol Bend real proud. You guys have no shame and played your hearts out. Congrads to Sweeny on the win. I really thought we were gonna make a game out of Sweeny on that first Robstown TD. Thank also to the posters on this board that supported us this season. Now our focus will be baseball season and the quest for a state title. :)
