Brenham was stopped one yard short on fourth down inside the ten with 1:54 left. Kingwood Park was then able to run out the clock. Brenham made way too many mistakes, especially by the special teams.

Good luck to Kingwood Park in their next bracket game. Pretty good team at Kingwood Park.

Wow! Brenham is loaded with D1 talent and they loose in the first round. I don't think anyone saw this coming. Most Brenham fans had visions of a rematch with Aledo at the title game.

I don't know why...it seems that Brenham is always loaded, but cannot make the state trip...it is a shame

I thought Brenham played in the State Championship game last year, unless you are talking about winning it.

Hoping for Aledo/Stephenville rematch. Aledo has Stephenville's number but eventually Srephenville will beat them!

Oh come on now...:hand: You know you only want to see this rematch so that if (and it's a BIG "if') S'ville were to find a way to win, you could say "Brownwood is better than any current 4A team"! Wait....I'm pretty sure you boys are already saying that!! :rolleyes: :p

Brenham just made the trip to state last year and lost to Aledo. They made it back like in 2005 as well so I don't quite see your point.

Actually, IF, and that's a big if, Stephenville can get their tunrovers under control, they will have a great shot at a rematch with Aledo and another shot to upset them. Believe me, Aledo's schedule has been way weaker than Stephenville's.
