Please submit your nominations with official stats for week 11 Player of the Week. Nominations will cease at 7:00 pm Monday night and the poll will go up shortly afterward. I would appreciate it if yall could refrain from additional comments and really would like to see only nominations and stats. Seconds and thirds aren't necessary. Will definitely make it easier on me to sift through and get all of it together.

Daymond Lewis, Columbia's QB
67 yards passing 2 TD's
134 yards rushing
Not outstanding stats, but if you were at the game you saw the kid take the team on his shoulders in the 4th quarter.

Devine RB Joseph Sadler
39 carries 247 yards 3 TD's
1 Catch 20 yards 1 Td

Have talked to most of the coaches from Cuero and alot of people on the Cuero side during the game. This was the BEST RB they have faced this year or seen on film. WOW he was fun to watch.

19-21 for 397 yards and 7 TDs WOW! Gotta go with Brown. But I'm sure others won't vote for him since BW was running up the score.

CB #18 Jon Horton, Sweeny Bulldogs

At LEAST 10 pass break ups in man on man coverage on Ingleside's best player. Shut him down! And maybe he had an INT too.... I can't remember who actually came up with the pics, but 1 was a direct result of him tipping the ball up in the air. Guy was everywhere and every time they took a shot at his side of the field.... he was there to knock the ball down. Hands down, the best CB play I've ever seen at the HS level.

Great post! John is an awesome kid, and he played a phenomenal game shutting down that receiver.

Carthage RB Hunter Holland

8 Carries for 190 Yards and 4 TD's

Quote from Longview News Journal "Hunter Holland ran eight times for 190 yards and four touchdowns before leaving the game with 8 ½ minutes remaining in the second quarter. Holland’s final three runs of the game were touchdowns of 1, 31 and 67 yards, capping a short night for the 6-1, 200-pound senior who scored on a 36-yarder on his second carry"
