Is weather disrupting Sanger O or has Celina been sacking QB?

This tells me Argyle's D is not very good or the weather is not right. No offense to Celina I know you are good. Just looking for insight

I picked Celina and I know yal are good...

but Sanger has sounded terrible. I know this can happen when 1 team is that much better but they seem completely overwhelmed and outmatched. Celina may be better than most thought, we shall see

Sanger very nearly beat Argyle. They are no slouch. But Celina is in the zone tonight. To be honest, this defensive outing is what i have been hoping to see all season. And it should concern other potential opponents, since their defense was shaky earlier in the season but has gotten much, much better. Also, there is still a half to play and Sanger is certainly the exact kind of team to come back from an early deficit

Celina D tired of being disrespected and making a statement. Oh wait it must be the weather. If it was not windy Sanger would be lighting them up. Oh wait Celina O is lighting it up... Through the air! Celina is toying with them so far and still refuses to go to the bread and butter running game. Sanger gets the ball to start the half. If they don't score coming out warm up the 2's and have a cocktail cause it's Lovejoy weeeek.

I believe its Lovejoy 35 - Smith 0 at the half.

Celina's d has laid out the Sanger qb a few times. So far this is the best I have seen the d play. Sanger has only had two passes of more than 10 yards for completion. Our passing game is on pretty good tonight.

Lovejoy did lose some players so I guess the rumors were facts.....

but if Celina plays like this next week it wouldn't have mattered anyway....

Celina is the best in 3A and we are a humble bunch.....

I wasn't bashing Celina at all. I was just asking if it was windy and this was affecting a "passing team."

Has Celina been successful on pure passing or mostly play-action. If Celina is running effectively, they should be able to throw on anyone because teams must stop their run first, resulting in getting burned by the pass.

Should be an interesting matchup with Lovejoy

No hate, just talkin football guys

Good evening Mr. Rocket. Had to let you know at the half Carthage has 500 yards of offense with 42 points at the half. The Defense has allowed minus 23 yards of offense. The beast from the East is coming Mr. Rocket. Keep building your confidence with the teams with no speed. I keep telling you the East Texas speed is a hole different kind of football from what you are use to seeing. Good luck to Brownwood.

Congratulations... you have 42 at half on a 6-4 team.

Last night we had 55 on an 8-2 team at half.

WE DON'T CARE WHAT YOU DO UNTIL WE PLAY YOU!!

Keep looking ahead to us, we're looking at Bridgeport

I was fortunate enough to be invited by Mark Kissinger to participate in the broadcast tonight on http://championslivehere.com/ . I have to tell you that was my first experience in a pressbox and live on a webcast. It was awesome! Thanks Mark! Had Joey there too and we had a blast.

Now for the game. I have to say this is the most team oriented offense I have seen coming from Celina. They have so many weapons. If I am a DC I am worried on who I key on all night. It looks impossible to stop. The Lovejoy coach in the booth said on the air that this was the best offense they have seen this year. I have not seen better. When I went to the game tonight what I wanted to see was Butch Ford's defense and if they had the capability to shut down a spread offense as potent as this Sanger team was. He had it dialed up perfectly. Pressure the QB, jam the receivers, force them out of bounds..... In other words throw them out of their comfort zone. They did all that and then some.

I tip my hat to Sanger and that QB. No quit in them even when the game was out of reach. They have really come a long way.

I had a sneaking suspicion we had not seen all of the defensive schemes yet and we still haven't. Offense was pretty vanilla in the second half. Lots of running plays even with the wind. Did the wind play a factor? I don't think so on either side.

That kid from Sanger has a cannon for an arm. But when you do not have time to set up a screen pass for the pressure, you are in trouble. Those Raulerson boys are beasts and just sophomores. Tanner Franklin played a heck of a game and looks to be nearly back in top form. Dallas Russell, you are the man! Keller Adams is a beast. Cody Rhodes was the true shutdown corner tonight! What a job he did on #4 for Sanger all night.

Offensively the line gets the game ball. Dominate Dominate performance. Jordan Roos is a force and a junior. I mean this kid goes 300 and can cut block like he weighs half that.

All in all it is like a well oiled machine that I saw on display tonight. Next up is Lovejoy and a tremendous challenge for sure. Better strap it on tight next week back at Collins Friday at 7:30. I just pray Mark calls again and invites me into the pressbox. Thanks again Mark!
