It was nasty. Almost thought I had to take him to the vet. He ripped open a wound on his lower left side about 3/4" to 1", but after cleaning it, I saw it was just superficial. He really didn't like the alcohol to sterilize to area. :eek:
But I applied some double/triple antibiotic in the wound and closed it with tape and bandages.

He is fine.:)

Ok this is what I took away from the first half

Mathis: pounds the ball really well with Butler. Can be beat if they can contain the run...2 good passes but both were floaters that could have been picked off if the defense was in the right position

Needville: Got a few burst, but the run game hasn't been as dominant as it was for Mathis. Defense needs to step it up a bit. If the qb can get some time he may be able to find a receiver but on his few pass attempts there has been no protection whatsoever.

No punts so far I don't believe


Needville wins if they get better protection and makes a big play on defense.

Mathis wins if they stick to the ground game with the occasional 20 yard pass and keeps doing what they are doing on defense.
