Anyone who actually saw the game, from the article about the game:

Derek Longoria (Brownwood) had an interception with a 60 yard return that was called back due to an off sides penalty; however Brownwood kept possession of the ball.

Did this actually happen and if so how? Only the defense can be offside did the reporter mean there was an "offside" on the offense?

That is incorrect. That was the first play of the game and Iowa Park retained possession of the ball.

That Brownwood nose guard was lined up in the neutral zone quite a bit last night. Think they popped him three times on it.

I don't think that was Longoria. I thought it was one fo the CBs -McShan or Ellis.

It was Vaccaro. The nose guard was called offsides twice because the center had his hand on the ball and would then make a sudden movement while taking his hand off the ball.
