That the folks who were in charge of realignment 2 years ago had never seen a map. Because if they had been placed in Reg. 3 like they should have been then their playoff run would not be near as likely as everyone is predicting. The state champion WILL come out of Reg.2 or 3.

With the exception of Sealy's two titles out of Region 4, the state champion virtually always comes out of 2 or 3. I think that may have something to do with the size and resources of the Houston/East Texas schools versus the Valley area or West Texas districts. I agree - Bellville, Columbus, and LaGrange are traditionally R3 areas, but I guess UIL has to balance the numbers. The "South Texas tour" was a different experience, playing in Beeville, Kingsville, and San Antonio. Maybe the Brahmas and Raiders can hook up in the semi's.

WILL come out of Reg 2 or 3? Wanna put money on that one? If so i think there are some pretty darn good teams in Region 1 that will put up a fight to the "Almighty" region 2 and 3.

Yeah... I guess you could say that Bellville is pretty lucky. We did lose to Gatesville 2 years ago and then last year we lost to Bandera. I guess we're just a terrible team.

I am a little confused at the talk---Gatesville Div I came from Region III and LaGrange Div. II came from Region IV...doesn't the coast tend to win the State Championship quite regularly?
