Season record doesn't matter. It's what you do in district, and if you win 3 games in district and nothing else, unfortunately you're in, no matter how bad it looks. I have seen 3-7 go a couple rounds deep in the playoffs before though.

It's all about predistrict schedules. Brownwood went four deep one year after entering thenplayoffs 4-6. Stephenville enters this year 5-5 and they should be highly competitive. And AWylie will not be easy to beat with their not so hot record.

I agree. An interesting stat...Sweetwater and Big Spring (who are both in our district) are the only two teams Wylie has played this season that did not make the playoffs...including a couple of 4A teams.
