I don't think most Bwd fans have a problem with someone predicting a loss for the Lions. Any team can be beaten (especially in the playoffs). I hope Brownwood wins state, but there's no guarantee. It'll be a tough road for the Lions (just like the rest of the field).

well madison is better than a lot of people are giving them credit for, but we wont really know how good they are until this potential matchup.

Boy, Argyle has a tough road with Prosper, Gilmer, and then I think they meet Carthage, not Madison in region final. I have Kirbyville and BW in my 'fantasy' title game as well, w/o knowing much about them other than they have 400 something kids and put up awesome numbers.
I also have Chapel Hill and Celina in title game with a different outcome of course... the fact they beat the poop out of Carthage is meaningful.

Well balanced offense with three great RB's and a QB with a cannon.

Defense is a good combination of size and speed. LB's and secondary are the quickest I have seen.

Two of the RB's also play LB.

Against Athens, they played pretty ugly with a few bad snaps which resulted in Athens TDs close to our endzone.

Athens was a good wakeup call for CH. If you dont keep the mistakes down in the playoffs, you'll be playing bball quickly.

Sometimes 2 district wins gets you in the playoffs. It usually happens in 5A, but I guess in smaller districts it can happen in 3A too.

but in the football world, he is known as "The Nostradamus of High School Football". He did have us in coming in 3rd but we got 1st (along with Hondo and Somerset)

Region III is a strong Region every year...I see no reason for anyone to pick Brownwood over Kirbyville--I think KV will do very well in 3A.

this is the type coin flip pick that shows dc has no clue about some of these football teams....

madison always has good athletes and always gets too much respect and never wins any playoff games that matter....most of those Dallas teams prefer to get on to bball practice for a try at a state title....they know they have no chance in football

Mr Campbell has not done ANY picks in years and he doesn't own the magazine anymore. He sold it years ago but it will always bear his name. The use of the pronoun "He" is erroneous.
