View Full Version : Fairfield is playing in Burleson against Waco La Vega in round one of the playoffs!

This is the first playoff game for some time for the Fairfield Eagles. They have a dominant rushing attack and the stakes for this game couldn't be higher. Win and you advance and lose and it's time to change out gear and pack up your football shoes.
The Eagles have a record of 9-1 against the season and are hungry for more. Their first loss came last week against a stout and tough Madisonville team. This is not as bad as it might seem, as adversity can build more character than all the success in the world can sometimes. I expect the Eagles to come out flying high and take an early lead. But, La Vega will show their mettle and do their best to come back and win this game. The game will be decided in the second half.

Burleson has a nice facility

its 105 miles for Fairfield and 72 for LaVega

burleson stadium is ok - last time we were there (2 years ago) the turf needed replaced...
