Throw out what you think will be games of the week for week 10?

Sealy and Bellville - District championships and bragging rights basically...

La Grange and Hutto - La Grange must win...

Rice and Wharton - District championship and bragging rights basically...

Luling and Cuero - If Luling wins, they make the playoffs... If Cuero wins, they're the district champs...

Hallettsville and Yoakum - Yoakum MUST WIN (and count on a Luling loss) to make the playoffs and H'Ville has already clinched a spot...

Who else? These are just the ones I am familiar with...

Glen Rose v. Everman- if GR wins they win 8-3a if they lose they are fourth and dont make the playoffs. Glen Rose is also coming off a win over kennedale and they have a lot of momentum.

Sinton vs. Mathis! Mathis needs this win in order to make the playoffs or lose and hope Taft loses as well. Mathis didn't make it to the playoffs last year and are hungry to make the post season this year. It's going to be hard for them because they are facing a Sinton team that has been hot since their bye-week. They have an advantage because they play us in their house. Battle of the Pirates should be a good one. Go Sinton Pirates!!! PS. This is my 100th post!! :D

In 32-3A the game between La Feria and Lyford is for the final two playoff spots and a share of the district title.

La Feria wins they share the title with PI and LF, PI and Raymondville are in the playoffs.

Lyford wins they share the title with PI and LF, PI and Lyford are in the playoffs.

gobbla if luling and yoakum both win then 3 teams will have 3-2 records. hallettsville, luling and yoakum. hallettsville has 7 positive points, luling 1 point. hallettsville is in and if yoakum beats hallettsville by 2 points they are in . so luling is not sured a playoff spot with a victory over cuero.

1) Winner is in the playoffs. Loser stays home. 2) If Ft. Stockton wins, forces 1st round matchup of Greenwood vs. Sweetwater.

The Ballinger - Abilene Wiley game has something extra this year. We have been in the same district for most of the last 25 years and most of the time the dist.championship has been decided by this game just as it will be this year.With Ballinger turning in an ADA of 329 we will almost certainly be going 2A next year and this our last game,at least as district opponents. I hope we continue to play each other,it has always been a good game and the stands are always packed on both sides no matter where we play. By the way if anyone knows what Wiley turned in for it's ADA would you post it or send me a PM

Can't forget about Wimberley/Ingram. They might not be battling for the district title, but this game will be closer then the Burnet/LH game. Wimberley/Ingram winner takes the 3rd playoff spot.
